Congratulations to Garrard County High School student Abby Fathergill for winning Farmers National Bank’s Lights, Camera, Save! financial education video contest for Garrard County!👏
Abby’s video, "Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees," highlighted the importance of managing money wisely and earned her a $500 prize. You can watch her winning video on the bank’s Facebook page.
The contest, sponsored by the American Bankers Association Foundation, empowers teens to educate their peers about good money habits through creative 30-second videos on topics like saving, budgeting, credit scores, and more.
Garrard County High School students submitted many fantastic videos, with additional winners receiving cash prizes. Great job to all who participated!

Congratulations to our December monthly attendance winners! Students with half a day or less absent and no tardies (97% attendance) during the month of December received a special treat and were entered into a prize drawing. One student from each grade at every school took home a $10 gift card to Piggin' Out, thanks to First Southern National Bank for sponsoring this month’s rewards. Way to go, students, and thank you, First Southern, for supporting our schools!

Students with GREAT attendance (97% or better) for the first half of the year were entered into a drawing for a BIG prize, and each school had one lucky winner. A huge thank you to our sponsor, Whitaker Bank, for donating a $100 Walmart gift card to each school!
