Garrard County Schools would like to welcome Trenton Angell, Aislinn Ellis, Jake Hurt, and Katelyn May as the district's newest staff members! These four Garrard County High School seniors were recently hired as PR and Visible Technology Co-op Student Workers. These students will visit and collaborate with our schools on website design and social media posting!

The potato-man surgery allows students to practice donning and doffing (putting on and taking off protective gear, clothing and uniforms), allows them to practice medical terminology in real time and allows them to learn about anatomical positions and body planes. The 3rd Grade students at Camp Dick Robinson have pen pals at Garrard County High School through the JAG classes, and received their first letter this week!✍️✉️
Every other week, the students exchange letters with their pen pals. The high school students created a video introduction to pair with their first letter to the 3rd graders! The CDR students have been so excited this week to read their first letter, watch their personalized video and respond to the high school students! #gchsproud #cdrproud
Christmas came early this year to our Welding Program! The Garrard ATC recently purchased TWELVE new multi-purpose machines to upgraded their program! These new machines are capable of doing GMAW and SMAW welding- and our students can't wait to get started with them! #techcentertuesday #atcproud #gcsproud
