Today, at Lancaster Elementary School, Leo the Leopard and Ms. Chambers had the pleasure of catching one of our amazing students, Lily, showing her true leopard spirit! 🌟
Lily utilized all the strategies she learned in class to tackle her exit ticket questions like a pro! With the guidance of her awesome teacher, Ms. Chambers, who modeled how to find the topic, author’s claim, reason, and evidence by underlining them on the board, Lily felt inspired to try it on her own.

Last week was full of fun activities at LES! 💚🤍 A huge thank you to our AMAZING Librarian, Mrs. Hacker for organizing all the fun. Also THANK YOU to Rebecca Meade, Holly Young, Scott Bolin, and Mrs. McWhorter's JAG students from GMS for coming to read to our little leopards. 📚❤️
We had a blast during our dress-up days, sporting our favorite hats, jammies, and green outfits, as well as dressing up as our favorite book characters! 🎉📖
And a special shoutout to our FIRST GRADERS for winning a slushie party for having the best behavior in the cafeteria! 🎊🥤

Leo the Leopard caught Genesis going above and beyond yesterday in Mrs. Lenavitt’s class! He came in her class in the afternoon and started cleaning up messed that wasn’t his just so our hardworking custodians wouldn’t have to! We are so proud of his initiative and kind heart! 💚🐆
