Hi! I am Tracie Bottoms, Lancaster Elementary Principal. I am in my 15th year at Lancaster Elementary and every year this school continues to strive to be the best. I have so many wonderful memories of the students that have passed through these halls, and I am blessed to be leading a wonderful group of children and staff.
Lancaster Elementary teachers work hard every day to ensure our students are learning. This year has been extra challenging, but we are stepping up to that challenge! Virtual Learning is a means of learning, but we want to spend the time with the students doing hands on lessons, interacting in person with the students each day and forming lasting relationships. We are certain we will get there eventually. We spend hours in trainings and professional developments to learn ourselves about new strategies and instructional practices that will work best for our students. The staff is dedicated to our students and want only the best for them. I am so proud to be a part of this team.
I am also proud of our students at everything they accomplish and all of their successes. LES staff love to celebrate our students, and we try to do that every opportunity we have.
LES staff encourages students to succeed in and out of the classroom. We have an outstanding Academic team that is repeat District champion and top Region contender. We also have a cross country team that has seen much success! I love them watching our students compete in areas outside of school.
Thank you, parents and community, for allowing the staff and me to teach and celebrate with your student. If you ever have any questions, you may call the office at 792-3047. We will be happy to assist you.
My hopes are that all students that have graced Lancaster Elementary classrooms continue with their education, graduate high school and lead wonderful, productive lives. Dream Big LES students!
