Garrard County High School's annual Baccalaureate Service was held on the Sunday night before graduation at Lancaster Baptist Church. This meaningful event brought together students, staff, and families to celebrate and reflect on the journey of the graduating seniors.

The service was primarily student-led, showcasing the talents and faith of the Class of 2024. Senior Eligah Coffey shared his testimony, detailing how his faith in God has guided and supported him throughout his high school years. His words resonated deeply with his classmates and the entire congregation.

CoffeyMusic played a significant role in the service, with Senior Keannah Childress and GCHS alumna Kennedy McGuffey performing several worship songs, including "See a Victory," "Hold on to Me," and "O Come to the Altar." They did an amazing job performing, adding something special to the service.

Keannah ChildressAdditionally, Andrew Sparks, Beau Ray, and Asher Dunn led the congregation in prayer, while Amanda Morrow read scripture, adding to the student participation of the evening. The sermon was delivered by Lancaster Baptist Church Pastor, Matt Cooke, who offered words of wisdom and encouragement to the graduating seniors.
