Tech Center Tuesday is here! An exciting day for ATC Electricity Department- with the arrival of the new HVAC trainer this week! This training simulator will allow students to get real-world experience working on an air conditioning unit in a residential home. This residential heat pump training unit is a full-functioning 1.5 ton residential heat pump system that provides real-world applications and troubleshooting examples. The potato-man surgery allows students to practice donning and doffing (putting on and taking off protective gear, clothing and uniforms), allows them to practice medical terminology in real time and allows them to learn about anatomical positions and body planes.
